Brunswick County Literacy Council has served adults in the community for 43 years. We are a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to improve the lives of Brunswick Count families by providing literacy skills for adults, helping hardworking adults earn their GEDs, making higher education possible, teaching English as a second language, giving employers better employees, and strengthening our communities.

$1,000 supports the development of one new ABL, ESL, GED, citizenship, financial, and digital literacy program.

$500  provides training and materials for new volunteer tutors for one year.

$150 provides essential learning materials for one adult for one year.

$50 helps pay for internet access and online tutorials in our classrooms.

$30 covers the cost of workbooks for one student for one curriculum level.
